A good leader must know how to mobilize his teams in order to achieve goals. In the event of a crisis, it can be interesting to get to know your management style better or to change your leadership style.
Sometimes, when problems persist and no solution put in place works, a change in leadership allows the team to be renewed.
Work on your leadership, it's first and foremost about being proactive. It means preventing times of crisis and actively preparing for them. This allows you to bounce back more quickly in case of problems in the company.
Each leader has his own leadership. From the leadership style come the posture of the manager, the role of the teams, the type of management to be established, and trust.
To determine your style, work on your managerial posture, and renew it, it is good to be accompanied. The manager can call on a coach for a individual personalized support which will allow him to work on his decision-making, his management and his leadership posture according to the chosen leadership style.
This coaching will then be mostly focused on the leadership aspect. It is also possible to do sessions of team coaching in order to implement a new leadership style and integrate it into teams. This collective coaching also makes it possible to resolve crisis cases.
There are different types of leadership, it is up to each manager to determine which one to put in place or to see which one represents his current management.
In the authoritarian type of leadership, only the leader makes decisions. He is the supervisor of the team, the decision-maker and gives the tasks to be carried out to the members in order to successfully complete the projects.
These are in line with the vision of the manager. He encourages his teams and works on his personal skills to lead them to success. In case of disagreement, the authoritarian leader has the last word.
Participatory leadership gives everyone the power to make decisions, in a spirit of collaboration. The participatory leader shares responsibilities between each member of the team. Good communication is required to set this up.
Laisser-Faire leadership lets the team move forward and evolve as they want. The leader therefore moves away from decision-making, he bases his management on autonomy and intervenes very little.
The visionary leader must inspire his teams to adopt his vision. In this conjecture, trust is crucial because the teams are going to follow the leader. If there are challenges, this leadership style will not work. On the other hand, in times of turmoil or doubts, this type of management can be beneficial in indicating a clear direction to the team.
The leader acts as a coach for the teams. He works with each member to improve their skills and challenge them. The leader coach provides feedback to employees, establishes an adapted work environment and makes use of everyone's skills. Combining executive coaching and leadership can be a real boost for some companies.
Collaborative, or affiliative, leadership consists in establishing a climate of trust so that there is a certain harmony within the group. This harmony allows for faster conflict resolution and promotes team cohesion. However, care must be taken to respect the objectives set.
Democratic leadership invites all team members to participate and give their opinion, although the leader has the last word.
In this type of leadership, the leader is an example. He is more competent, more productive than the others who must then follow his example. In case of difficulties for employees, the “lead” leader must help them.
The transformational leader motivates, stimulates, and encourages their teams. These leaders often use coaching.
This allows them to be supported in taking responsibility for their team and the right balance between the acceptance of their management and the realization of their vision.

A leadership style is established and worked on. Adoption by teams and the manager himself can be long and tedious. It must correspond to the values and spirit of the company.
It is he who will make it possible to build trust, team cohesion and ensure productivity. It is important to choose the type of leadership that best fits your business. It is not impossible to change it if it is not appropriate.
