Partner Coach

You make the decisions alone. Even with an attentive board of directors or a strong executive committee around you, the final call is yours. And it is rare to be able to think out loud without weighing every word.

I spent thirty years in business, seventeen of them as CEO and then Chairman. I have known the pressure of time, decisions made too quickly for lack of perspective, and periods when energy wears thin without really knowing why. I have been coached myself, and that experience changed the way I lead. Becoming an executive coach was a natural extension of my career: I did not change worlds, I changed my place within the same world.

Who I support and how

I support women and men who lead SMEs and mid-sized companies, as well as members of executive committees. Even when a business is doing well, some moments call for perspective: setting an important new course, presenting a project to shareholders, finding the right words to speak to your teams or making a difficult decision.

I work as a sparring partner, over the long term. We take the time to think out loud, set out the issues, challenge ideas and clarify the options. This may involve a specific decision, but also the leader's time and energy or the alignment of their leadership team. My role is to help you find your own answers and make decisions with greater discernment.

When the strategy is clear but nothing moves

Sometimes the strategy is clear, it has been presented, and yet nothing really moves. What holds things back is not always a matter of skill or willpower. Sometimes it is the company's culture: habits, reflexes and things left unsaid that continue to shape behaviour despite the decisions taken.

Aligning what a company says, what it believes and what it does then becomes a lever for transformation. I worked on these issues as a business leader; today, I help other leaders and their teams tackle them.

What guides me

I am convinced that what sometimes holds a leader back is not what they see, but what they no longer see. Helping them regain that perspective guides my work, in the spirit of VISCONTI's values: Sharing, Boldness, Enjoyment.

A father, and a keen mountain hiker, skier and cyclist, I make a point of keeping room for what recharges me outside work. That balance also helps you stay effective over time.

This is what I love about this work: seeing a leader regain clarity on a situation that had been boxing them in for months, and then seeing their team move forward with them.

Leadership seminars and training

I also design and facilitate seminars to help leadership teams work together on issues of strategy, alignment or transformation.

My training courses are built on the real situations participants face. I share my experience, invite them to compare their practices and help them, through questioning and hands-on practice, to find their own solutions. Leadership, management, change management, work organisation or time management: the aim is for everyone to improve the way they act and leave with concrete ideas.

I work with executive management and HR departments, in French and in English, in France and internationally.
