A management team is first and foremost a team. It must therefore be soldered.
We use all the techniques useful for cohesion:
seminars (ideally three times a year), joint work (e.g. rotating coaching between team members on a transversal subject) and development of mutual knowledge.
A Management Committee is a steering body for the execution of a strategy. So it is an organization and a process in itself.
We regularly audit the quality of Management Committees and make them progress thanks to our experience of supporting more than 300 Management Committees per year.
The crisis can take different forms: conflict between directors or conflict between manager and directors.
We encourage managers and directors to express themselves as freely as possible. We often act as a mediator to resolve the conflict and get back on a healthy footing.
The Management Committee must make progress in areas transversal to management: strategy, “time management”, management practices, organization, innovation, customer experience, etc.
On average, we participate in the management committees of the managers we support every quarter to create the conditions for collective progress and to provide depth and experience.
In addition, we coach each member of the management committee on an ad hoc basis. This, of course, is in addition to the management work of the manager himself.
